A group of 3 of us went to hike this mountain in Montenegro during the low touristic season. So windy and so cold but really worth the view. I capture the tpicture on the way back down.

In early morning hours, wife an I went to beach. It was very calm and silent. she was doing yoga while I waited for caffe to open to have first morning coffee. In mean time, I walked along a beach and noticed sailing boat. It was surrounded by morning fog that appears because the sun was just showing up behind mountains of Kotor Bay.

We were on our way to Porto Montenegro and stopped by the side of the road to take in the amazing view of the area Perast. The little island with a church on the left is Ostrvo, it is the only artificial island on the Adriatic Sea.

The only local ferry in Montenegro is at the Bay of Kotor, in the Verige strait, between the villages of Kamenari and Lepetane. This ferry will save you about 30km (via Kotor, Perast, and Risan) if you drive from Budva to Herceg Novi or vice versa. Otherwise, the journey by road takes about 40-45 minutes. The distance from coast to coast is about 300m. The ferry crosses the strait in ten minutes. There are four ferries operating at the ferry line, each accepting 50 cars, and another one that accepts 70 cars.
